I'm Going to Let it Shine!

How do you view this picture?

There are lots of way to view this image. One way to see it as gloomy, and the leaves are gone off the tree. The tree looks dead, and nothing is green. It looks like nothing can or will grow, or even live for that fact. The trees are hanging from all the snow that is piled on it. The sky is cloudy. Negative situations tend to feel like this pictures looks..

Or, the other way we could view this picture, is that, there is a season for everything. The trees are tall, which means that they constantly growing no matter what the season is. Even if the season is winter. This picture screams out belief, because when the season changes to Spring the leaves will come back, and be green, and that is a wonderful sign of life. Or to simplify it, this whole picture means there is life.. and as long as we have life, we have a purpose..

Both views could be accepted, but the one thing that is still coming through is the sunshine. The light that will never go out. Just like Jesus's light. No matter how sad, lonely, confused, heartbroken, ignored, stressed, and tired we are, Jesus's light will continue to shine through you. Because he loves you. He loves you more than anything you could ever try to dream of. There is a time, and season in all of our lives. Our purpose is to welcome each season, and see it with all the blessings we have, no matter what it looks like.  Walk by faith, not by sight.

Cornithians 4:6 For, God who said, "Let there be light in the darkness," has made us understand that this light is the brightness of the glory of God that is seen in the face of Jesus Christ.

John 1:5 The light shines through the darkness, and the darkness can never extinguish it.

May your light shine, and never be turned off, or dimmed. Your purpose has already been granted, you just have to access it. You, and every person is worthy. Say out loud I am worthy, and I have a light to shine!

Big warm hug, and smile. Until next time.
