FEAR FAIRIES

Happy New Year's Eve my good people!

Yesterday I didn't post. Since I have started blogging I have been met with a lot of different feelings, and emotions. I have received positive responses, and I am so thankful for that. However, I can't avoid the Fear Fairies.

Fear Fairies

Description:

• What are they? People who may or may not know you. Do not be surprised if you know them.
• Fear Fairies tend to show up when you are about to take a stand for what you believe in, or about to try and achieve what they know to be the impossible.
• They will use their status (friend, brother, sister, Supervisor, etc) to instill fear.
• Oh how they enjoy instilling their own values, and belief into us, and love to intimidate. They may or not even know their even doing this.
• Often times they will find every reason why you can't, instead of why you can.

I almost considered taking the blog down.. I cried, prayed, cried, and prayed some more. Here are some of things people felt they needed to let me know.

Crystal you better be careful, and  make sure you come see me first before you decide to discuss me or use my name.

Crystal you better be careful of what you say because everyone can see it.

Crystal you will be upsetting people, and be prepared to have havoc come your way.

Crystal your writing skills aren't the best.

Crystal you sound angry at times.

Crystal what are people going to think?

Record scratch for real now. The fish have stopped swimming to entertain this nonsense.  You think I didn't consider all of this before I started this blog? I'm not running nothing by nobody, cause it's my feelings, and thoughts. Yeah, this blog could upset some people. I'm not blogging to win an essay contest, or to be graded. I thought about what others might think. I'm not angry. Yes, I realize I am exposing my life.

Let the new beginning of 2012 be the year that we take on the Fear Fairies. Fear is not of the Lord. Take it to God. Pray for everyone. Be of good spirit. When no one sees you or hears you, he does. Believe in you. Love even when they don't. Just because the majority agrees, doesn't mean their right.

You are not everyone.

 You are one.

 One Jesus.

 One life.

One baptism. 

 One beautiful person you are.
